The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuum and mop combos I've tested. Its base station features a large dustbin and water tank. Its dual rubber brushes are less prone to hair tangles than single bristles.
Its mopping performance is excellent and its AI mapping excels at avoiding obstacles. It also has the ability to pause its cleaning job and resume it where it began.

Download and open the Yeedi App and follow the steps on screen to connect your M12 to your Wi-Fi Network. After connecting the app will prompt you to create a unique name for your new robot. It's important to remember that the M12 is compatible with 2.4 GHz networks only.
The M12 comes with a variety of cleaning options, such as vacuuming and mopping. Its clever design lets it map a room in just six minutes and adjust its cleaning route accordingly. It's an extremely powerful mop and vacuum cleaner. It was able to cover our 1,500 square foot test area within 101 minutes, before the battery drained and it returned to its dock. Its mop washes itself in between use, which reduces the cost of maintenance and helps keep its pads clean. A dock sensor detects when a mop pad becomes dirty and initiates a wash cycle.
The S8 MaxV Ultra, like its predecessors has an intelligent system which can recognize things that are commonplace, like shoes and pet waste using the combination of a camera and LIDAR. It performed well in our evaluation of obstacle avoidance with just one minor glitch during my tests (it was stuck when in unwinding a ball of wool that was tangled up around its brush arm).
The S8 MaxV Ultra features a suction force of 10,000pa which is more than twice the power of its predecessor. This makes it a great option for homes with a lot of carpet and a mix of flooring types. The vacuum can be programmed to automatically increase suction when it moves over dust or crumbs.
As with previous models, there are multiple docking stations that can be placed in different rooms to automate the process of cleaning and mopping. The docking station is connected to the home plumbing system and will drain and replenish the tank of water when you're done.
4. Dreametech X40 Ultra
The Dreame X40 Ultra robot vacuum and mop is the company's latest flagship model. It offers several unique features that its lower-priced models lack. It has top-notch suction and mops hard floors with incredible ease. It also has many advanced features, like self-detangling roller brush heads and auto-extending mop heads, that make it a great option for cleaning hands-free. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station and dust collector filter. The mop pads are automatically cleaned and drained in hot water. After every cleaning session, the water tank will also be emptied automatically.
It comes with advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule, such as choosing a specific time to start and end every cycle, or choosing whether it should clean carpets prior to mopping. It can be instructed to re-clean areas that are dirty and to boost suction around pet litter and food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks on demand, such as cleaning the kitchen sink or bathroom toilet. It can also be set to automatically lift its front side brush when it detects wet areas and clean up debris from baseboards and corners.
The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and use, with an intuitive and simple app and a broad range of features. affordable robot vacuum is quieter than many corded vacuums. The only sound is the occasional low hum from its motor, and brief moments of sucking during cleaning. The navigation system is quite impressive and utilizes an image camera with 3D-structured light and multiple lasers to locate and avoid obstacles, and this helps the X40 Ultra achieve one of the highest scores for obstacle avoidance in our evaluations.
5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combination that was designed to be easy for users. The gunmetal base station fills up its own tank of clean water, then empty the dustbin into a smaller bin and washes and drys its own mop pads during cleaning sessions. It also comes with a sophisticated feature set that allows it to switch between hard and rugs and effectively remove pet hair and dirt from carpets, and clean raised room thresholds.
The S1 Pro's navigation and maps are outstanding, and the dToF LiDAR system in the internal unit that allows it to keep the appearance of a slim profile while delivering top-notch objects avoidance. It can be driven close to walls without hitting them and avoiding steps, and it also automatically raises its mop when driving over rugs or carpets with a short pile. It struggled a bit when it came across longer-pile carpets and also some thick, long messes with dried-on debris.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to roll out of the box and only requires a quick initial mapping run to get it used to your home. Once it's done, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or merged depending on the need. You can also set virtual boundaries and no-go or no-mop zones if there's something you don't want the robot to touch.
The S1 Pro is a great option for homes that have flooring of both types, as it can mop and vacuum. However the fact that it relies on an Eufy-branded cleaning solution (which is included in the box) makes it less flexible than other robots that let you build your own solutions.
