If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combination with cutting-edge features, consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This model of the highest quality is fast and nimble and can pick up dirt such as pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek interface that includes a mini map of your house and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.
It comes with a range of other innovative features as well, including a different dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide granular control using only your voice.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including creating an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, the machine will begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It is important to note that mapping takes a while and may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. affordable robot vacuum was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels and needed to turn to free itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned and not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.
This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you adjust the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at a reasonable price. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping system which uses a roller continuously dosed with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. It was unable to handle fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also quite high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin, wash and dry the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in a routine schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all the functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot vacuums/mowers available, and offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable precision. The app lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, or customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're close to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating the carpet.
The docking station is an automated maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station has an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, allowing seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job of keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your home which allows it to know where not to go. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop) unlike most vacuums.
Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to cut down on time, it can skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities it is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option if you are looking for a robot that can perform regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It has a range of features, including a self emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, and customizable settings via the app. It's quite quiet and can maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that offers powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It is very quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take photos of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they will not be removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure, and aren't tied to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming but isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
